Experience the wild diversity of Georgia across remote Caucasus mountains, alpine valleys, river crossings and vast eastern plains. A self-driving off-road expedition designed for explorers who want to drive high mountain passes, camp in remote landscapes and experience true overland travel beyond the tourist routes.

About the Adventure

This expedition takes you from the dramatic mountain regions of the Greater Caucasus into the remote wilderness of eastern Georgia. The convoy moves through high-altitude mountain passes, green valleys, rocky tracks and dry savannah-like landscapes shaped by changing terrain and weather conditions.

You will explore remote regions including Roshka Valley, Mutso, Shiraki, Vashlovani, Chachuna and the Iori Plateau while driving through gravel roads, mud tracks, river crossings and technical mountain routes.

Expect an average of 200 to 350 km per day and 4 to 9 hours of off-road and overland driving, depending on terrain and conditions.

The experience focuses on self-driving, convoy movement, remote camping, mountain exploration, off-road driving techniques and cinematic scenery.
All guided and supported by the professional Dunes to Glaciers team.
